Case Type: Employment
Opposing Party: Employer
Our client worked in a “sweat shop” for over a year, where she was regularly required to work more than 70 hours per work; often working more than 24 straight hours, without any rest or meal breaks. The employers regularly inflicted psychological and verbal abuse on their employees, including our client.
We filed a lawsuit on behalf of our client alleging numerous employment violations, including failure to pay wages, withholding earnings, failure to provide meal and rest breaks, and other wage and hour violations. We secured a judgment in our client’s favor, against all defendants, for more than $200,000.00.
